Kevin G. Hunter
Kevin Hunter is an experienced corporate lawyer who provides counsel on all aspects of business transactions, including mergers and acquisitions, joint ventures, commercial lending, business entity formations, licensing, and other contractual matters. Many of his matters involve real property transactions, including the sale and lease of corporate real estate assets. Prior to forming his own law firm, Kevin was a partner at the international law firm of Steptoe & Johnson LLP and served for several years as the Deputy Managing Partner of Steptoe’s Phoenix office. Kevin began his legal career in 1991 as an associate in the Phoenix office of Lewis and Roca LLP (now Lewis Roca Rothgerber Christie LLP) and became a partner at Lewis and Roca in 1997.
Beginning in 2010, Kevin served as the co-chair of a subcommittee of the Business Section of the State Bar of Arizona tasked with drafting Arizona’s version of the Revised Uniform Limited Liability Company Act (RULLCA). Arizona’s version of RULLCA was enacted and signed into law by Governor Doug Ducey in 2018.
